The Mediacom Outdoor Club is an indoor space located directly behind the Outdoor Club stadium seating, spanning the entire length of the playing field. The east side of the building includes a wall of windows that allows for a spectacular view of The Iowa Hawkeye Football playing field and The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The west side of the building includes a wall of windows that provides a view of the Hansen Football Performance Center. The 3,600 square foot, centrally located space, boasts a 20' ceiling, making it an ideal space for banquets, receptions, wedding ceremonies and receptions, holiday parties, business functions, and other social gatherings. The corridors, extending to the north and south, provide an additional square footage allowing for some creativity in the planning process.

Liability Insurance

All University organizations are covered under the University's policy.

All Public and Nonprofit organizations are required to have liability insurance for their event. The link below provides the contact and insurance needed. Insurance is needed in the occurrence of property damage to our facility or  if someone is injured and brings a claim against the contract holder and/or The University.

Security

Each individual event is subject to require security personnel in addition to the rental pricing. Once we have reviewed the specific event in detail, a decision will be made on whether or not security will be required.

Handicap Accessibility

There is guest access to the ground level entrance of the building as well as an elevator inside for access to each event space.

Parking

Parking is available Monday-Friday in lot 43 (Kinnick Parking Lot) starting at 4:30pm and all day on weekends. Parking is available weekdays at an hourly rate at Parking Ramp 3 behind Kinnick Stadium. Guests who park in lot 43 before 4:30pm on weekdays are subject to non-refundable fees.
